About Us
Michael Harty, Managing Director of both Harty International Transport and HBF Biofuels in Milltown, Co. Galway has been in business for almost 30 years now.
Harty Transport has been be trading since 1979 when Michael started out with one truck to his name, plenty of
enthusiasm and a love of work. Through the years he built up a thriving business due to hard work and determination. For a
number of years Michael was an owner and driver doing trips himself on the continent.
In 1999 Michael moved his company from his home in Kilconly just outside Tuam, to a purpose built warehouse in Milltown
Business Park. Ever since the company has gone from strength to strength and are Harty Transport is a worldwide logistics company.
Now entering a new phase with the inception of sister company HBF Biofuels Ltd, the business has
taken huge steps to reduce the carbon footprint of the company.
